“The music is very important to the game,” shared artist and producer Pi’erre Bourne while ranking his Top 5 video games of all time. The mind behind Playboi Carti's "Magnolia" and Young Nudy's recently released Nudy World project, Bourne has always been into gaming. In an interview from earlier this year, he talked about how some of his favorite game soundtracks, like Street Fighter’s, influenced the way he makes music today: “When I was in high school, I downloaded a bunch of video game soundtracks and I would just listen to them and study them," he said. "That shit is really intricate. Most people don't notice because they're playing a game, but if you actually listen to that shit, most beat makers can't do that shit.”
