Young Dolph shot multiple times in Hollywood
L.A.P.D. have arrested one person in connection with the shooting, according to TMZ.
Young Dolph was taken to a Hollywood hospital on Tuesday afternoon after he was shot multiple times on a busy intersection, TMZ reports.
Following the shooting, the site reported that Dolph is in critical but stable condition at an L.A. hospital. The incident occurred outside the Loews Hollywood Hotel, when Dolph got into an altercation with three men. The Memphis rapper fell to the ground, and one of the man reportedly fired at him multiple times. According to police officials, Dolph ran into a local business while the suspects fled. L.A.P.D. has reportedly arrested one individual in connection with the shooting.
Though TMZ reported that Yo Gotti was implicated in the shooting, L.A.P.D. Public Information Officer Sal Ramirez denied the claim to Pitchfork.
In February, the Memphis rapper was shot at over 100 times while riding in an SUV in Charlotte, North Carolina. He was uninjured in that shooting, reportedly thanks to his $300,000 bulletproof SUV. Fellow Memphis rapper Blac Youngsta was arrested and charged with six felony county in relation to the shooting.
Representatives for Young Dolph and Yo Gotti were not immediately available for comment.
