Mrs. Potts sang it. Céline Dion sang it. Ariana Grande and John Legend sang it. Now we've got an interpretation from Cooper B. Handy, a/k/a Lucy, an angelic crooner from Western Mass whose outsidery synth-pop has historically had a certain surreal quality. This loopy, lo-fi update on a tale as old as time is no different. DC Poropat also made a Blair Witch-channeling video, debuting above.
"It's the second track of this EP from last month," Lucy told The FADER. "I've always liked the lyrics, and they weren't too far off from the type of songs I usually write. It's my first cover/tribute/whatever-you-want-to-call-it, and may be the only one I ever do." Watch above.
