Rihanna's third Diamond Ball took place in New York last night with the fundraiser making more than $840,000 through an auction of personalized items, the Washington Post reports. The money raised will go to a range of good causes via her own Clara Lionel Foundation.
Barack Obama could not be there in person but he did send a message to Rih and the rest of her guests. "Thanks to Rihanna for her philanthropy," he said via video link. "And thanks to everyone for your support."
