“You got to stay close to your family,” SahBabii shares in the opening scenes of Family Business, a new FADER mini-documentary starring the 20-year-old rapper. “It ain’t nothin’ better than that.” Filmed in and around Sah’s family home and CBMG headquarters in Atlanta, the mini-doc uncovers the origins of the “Pull Up Wit Ah Stick” star’s musical interests and endeavors, telling the story of his family's mom-and-pop business dynamic along the way.
Everyone has their own designated role in SahBabii's rise: “My dad, he’s like, the visionary, he’s also the manager," T3, SahBabii’s older brother explains. "My mom, she’s more administrative, sending out emails. Me, I’m more like the workhouse. I’m the get it done guy. And then Sah — he’s the artist.”
Watch the doc above to see how SahBabii's family come together to help the budding star achieve his dreams, even if it means making some big sacrifices along the way.
