Linkin Park have revealed that they're planning a public event to honor the late Chester Bennington. Details of the event remain unconfirmed but a note from bassist Dave Phoenix on behalf of the band was posted on Tuesday in which plans for something in Los Angeles were outlined. That note can be seen in full above.
In the wake of Bennington's suicide in July, Linkin Park established an official tribute website, where fans can post notes personal tributes to the late frontman. A renewed focus on the band's music, with fans rushing to download their songs and albums, has seen the group receive 11 new platinum certifications.
