The members of Linkin Park have shared an open letter they wrote to Chester Bennington following the frontman's death last week. Bennington's death was announced on July 21, he was 41. In the letter his bandmates say that their "love for making and performing music" is "inextinguishable." They add that they are unclear what the future holds for them as a band but that "we know that each of our lives was made better by you."
"You touched so many lives, maybe even more than you realized," the letter reads. "In the past few days, we’ve seen an outpouring of love and support, both public and private, from around the world. Talinda and the family appreciate it, and want the world to know that you were the best husband, son, and father; the family will never be whole without you."
The message ends with a link to an official tribute website, where fans can post notes personal tributes to Bennington.
