Work by the artist Khadija Saye, who died in the Grenfell Tower fire, is being displayed at Tate Britain in London. A promising photographer, 24-year-old Saye's 'Sothiou' is showing at the gallery until November.
Announcing the news on Instagram, a statement from Tate reads: "In memory of Khadija Saye and all who lost their lives at Grenfell Tower on 14 June 2017. Khadija Saye's 'Sothiou' is from a group of works under the title Dwelling: in this space we breathe, which is included in the Diaspora Pavilion at the Venice Biennale until 26 November 2017."
A fund will be set up in Khadija's name during the duration of 'Sothiou's time on display.
Saye was among the first two people to be confirmed dead in the blaze alongside Syrian refugee al-Haj Ali. She died alongside her mother Mary Mendy in the blaze which has claimed at least 79 lives. You can see more of her beautiful work here.
