Lil Uzi Vert's "XO Tour Llif3" is everywhere. The song just became certified platinum, it's on the Billboard Hot 100, and it's definitely playing at every party for the rest of the summer. The song's producer, TM88, isn't surprised by the song's success. "I feel like it's going to be a song that's going to be played for the next 15 or 20 years," he says in a video for Genius's Deconstructed series.

In the video, TM88 explains how he made the beat for the smash hit using a Beats Pill, and how by changing the tempo a little bit and focusing on percussion, he turned "XO Tour Llif3" into the song it is today.
He also takes a moment to explain what the line "All my friends are dead" actually means. "Everybody else says it makes them feel like their friends are dead, but I know the concept. At first, I was like, this nigga crazy," he says, sounding like all of us when we heard the song the first time. "But then, they were like, nah, bro, I think he's talking about dead presidents."
