M.I.A. has nabbed several musicians for her upcoming Meltdown Festival in London. Giggs, Princess Nokia, and Young M.A are all slated to perform. In addition to musical performances, the rapper will host a conversation with WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, Pitchfork reports.
The two will be joined by philosophers Slavoj Žižek and Srećko Horvat in a discussion being called "What's Coming Next." The focus of the talk will be covering "the complexities of global activism and art in a changing world.”
Assange will be joining the conversation remotely via a live link. The talk will take place June 11 from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. at the Weston Roof Pavilion of the Royal Festival Hall in the Southbank Centre.
Ahead of the festival, M.I.A. recently released a new song, "Goals."
