Your iPhone Will Soon Be Able To Sense When You’re Driving And Disable Notifications
The company announced that iOS 11 will include Apple Pay, a new Siri voice, and a do-not-disturb-while-driving feature at WWDC on Monday.

On Monday, Apple unveiled a host of changes and updates at it's Worldwide Developer's Conference in San Jose, California. Among the announcements were the launch of Apple Pay, a new, more human voice for Siri, and an iOS 11 feature that will detect when you're driving and disable notifications on your iPhone.
The feature, if it's activated, will detect when someone is driving, mute notifications, and allow the user to set up automatic responses when someone texts their phone. Many states ban the use of phones while driving but, according to the NHTSA, almost four thousand people were killed in distracted driving accidents in 2015.
Other updates to the operating system include on-the-fly Siri translation, a redesign of the Control Center, and new special effects in Live Photo. Follow along with all the WWDC announcements here via The New York Times.
