Chromatics Appear On Twin Peaks, Share New “Shadow” Video
Johnny Jewel’s group performed in the Roadhouse as the cult show returned to TV after 25 years.
David Lynch's Twin Peaks made its long-awaited return to television last night, May 21, with a third season kicking off on Showtime. The much talked about season opener ended with an appearance from Chromatics, who performed their song "Shadow" at Twin Peaks's bar, The Roadhouse. "Shadow" was originally released by Johnny Jewel and his band back in 2015. Shortly after the episode aired the official video for "Shadow" landed online. Check out that, which features Chromatics performing in the Black Lodge with reference to Julee Cruise and Lynch's Blue Velvet, above.

Earlier this month it was revealed that a near-death experience prompted Jewel to destroy 15,000 CDs and 10,000 vinyl records of the long-promised Chromatics album Dear Tommy. Jewel has subsequently released a new version of the album.
