PJ Morton Shares An Animated Lyric Video For “Everything’s Gonna Be Alright”
The NOLA artist sheds light on divided times with some help from BJ The Chicago Kid and The Hamiltones.
In the face of racial tension, systemic injustice, and the Trump presidency, PJ Morton recognizes our country is divided: "There's so much trouble in the world right now," he told The FADER in an email. In this lyric video for "Everything's Gonna Be Alright," featuring BJ The Chicago Kid and The Hamiltones, the New Orleans artist merges old and new school with elements of black church music to remind us to remain calm amidst chaos and uncertainty.
"We're very divided as a country right now; we’re still here though," PJ adds. "That is essentially what the song is about. I’m saying, ‘I know this is one of the craziest times we’ve ever been in, but everything’s gonna be alright.'"
