M.I.A.'s Meltdown Festival has grown in size, with new artists and events added to the bill. Giggs will play his own headline show at Royal Festival Hall as part of the festival while Princess Nokia joins the previously announced Yung Lean on the bill of a separate show on June 14.
Other new names for the M.I.A.-curated line-up today include Soulwax, Father, and Fakear. They join Young M.A, Mykki Blanco, Young Fathers, Mr Eazi, and M.I.A. herself on the festival line-up. There will also be a “hip-hop karaoke” night, a Rinse FM block party, plus an afternoon of free live music celebrating Refugee Week.
The 2017 edition of Meltdown runs from June 9-18. Head to the Southbank Centre website for more information.
