With the rise of artists such as J Hus and Belly Squad, U.K. rap and its melting pot of global influences has created a sound unique to the city. As the scene continues to prosper and gain attention worldwide, the pioneers involved continue to serve the city that has given them so much. New doc LDN documents the artists currently at the heart of U.K. rap and other diasporic genres within the capital.

Directed by east London filmmaker Nathan Miller, who quit his job to make the film, LDN serves as depiction of the scene told through the lens of someone who lives among it. Following a number of the city's biggest artists, photographers, and producers, LDN explores the the music scene from the center. The 46-minute documentary features intimate interviews with homegrown artists such as J Hus, 67, and Kojey Radical. Other prominent voices in the film include photographer Vicky Grout and DJ Siobhan Bell.
