During his DJ set on Thursday at The FADER FORT, Jxmmi, one-half of feel-great rap duo Rae Sremmurd, played the crowd a bit of the new song that he and Swae Lee made with Mike WiLL Made-It. The song, which is called "Perfect Pint" and features Kendrick Lamar and Gucci Mane, felt like a real live banger, with a surreal-sounding hook to boot.
"One word to describe the song? ‘Incredible’ is not strong enough," Jxxmi told The FADER backstage. "It's magnificent. Incredible. Awesome." Jxxmi said they recorded the song for Mike WiLL's forthcoming Ransom II project, and that its all-star cast of contributors recorded their parts separately.

"[Mike WiLL] played it for Gucci and he was like, 'Yeah. Bam. Let’s do it,'" Jxmmi said. "He put a hard-ass verse on it. Then Kendrick heard it, and came through and finished it off; he went crazy. What I’ll say about that song is that it’s timeless. That’s the word I was looking for — timeless." Watch the live video above, and look out for Ransom II on March 24.
