OMB Peezy has quickly become one of the most buzzed about names in rap off the strength of standout tracks "Lay Down" and "When I Was Down." The Sacramento-via-Mobile rapper effortlessly brings together the best pieces of his regional influences to create a sound that's completely his own.
Now, under the tutelage of E-40, Peezy is readying a new project entitled Loyalty Over Love, and the intro to the upcoming tape, which premieres on The FADER today, proves why he's the future of rap.
"I wrote the song when I was 16 years old — 4 years ago in 2013," Peezy told The FADER over email. "The world has forgot the true definition of loyalty, and it's hard to find these days. Without loyalty, I can't love you."
