Brodinski Announces Closure Of Bromance Records, Shares Retrospective Mix
The Paris label ends its five-year run.
Bromance Records, the label founded in 2011 by Paris producer Brodinski and Manu Barron, announced its closure today and shared a retrospective mix, compiled with Guillaume Berg. The label released music from artists like Danny Brown, Kaytranada, Suicideyear, Gesaffelstein, Louisahhh!!!, and Illangelo, and hosted parties.
The label shared a parting statement on the mix's Soundcloud page. "We've been here together for five years, delivered about fifty releases, organized more than 300 parties, festivals and other events. Today, Louis 'Brodinski' Rogé and I (Manu Barron) have decided, alongside the rest of our crew and staff, to put an end to the intense and exciting experience that was Bromance."
"I want to Thank Everyone that supported & loved us during the last 5 Years, & everyone Involved in this Incredible Story," Brodinski added in his Instagram post, seen above. Last fall, Brodinski released The Sour Patch Kid a collection of tracks he'd produced for Atlanta rappers.
