Dirty Projectors have shared the video for "Cool Your Heart," a new song featuring D∆WN and co-written by Solange. Pitchfork reports that the song was written "during breaks from sessions for Solange's album [A Seat at the Table]," which Dave Longstreth of the Dirty Projectors worked on. It's a polished tropical pop banger with an experimental streak — ex-Battles member Tyondai Braxton and Atoms For Peace's Mauro Refosco both contributed to "Cool Your Heart" as well.
In the video, Longstreth and D∆WN take a nighttime catwalk along an empty road, with their movements occasionally reversed. While it may look like the same backward motion you've seen in a hundred Snapchats, the artists continue to sing along with the track even as the rest of their bodies are taken back in time. It's dope and might make you crosseyed.
