1. "Personal," one of the anthemic, self-love-themed highlights off SweetSexySavage, is classic, amped-up Kehlani. This will be on blast during shower time, without a doubt.
2. Culture is out! It's hard to choose from an album full of Migos fire, but "Get Right Witcha" is our current favorite, because we love those spooky wind instrumentals.
3. "I was never the cool kid/ More like strange and awkward," raps J Hus on "Samantha," an earnest, bumping collaboration with fellow rising star Dave. It's a win for strange kids everywhere.
4. Giggs jumped on Stefflon Don's "Real Ting" for a fierce remix of the title track off the U.K. rapper's latest mixtape. Sounds like a storm's coming.
5. Mr. Eazi's glowing "Leg Over" is on loop this week. There's nothing wrong with stealing some 2016 sounds to help make our dystopian 2017 lives a little better.
6. Folk veteran Mount Eerie's pure-feeling and grief-ridden "Real Death," written after he lost his wife, is about banal and sacred moments of mourning.
7. The world is really trash right now, and Show Me The Body knows it. That's probably why their blown-out, hip-hop-metal track "Trash" rocks so damn hard (and, in turn, feels so cathartic to listen to).
8. The swirling “Star-Rise," Teengirl Fantasy's first new one in two years, is cosmic warmth for the soul: ominous and hopeful-sounding in equal measure.
9. After listening to the funky, slinky "Crawl," Gabriel Garzón-Montano has our blessing to soundtrack all the late-nights when we text our boos: you up?
10. You're gonna want to be U.K. artist Rex Orange County's best friend by the time the trumpets burst at the end of his heartfelt, folksy rock song, "Best Friend."
11. "Haze Of Interference" — off of the powerful, mental health-confronting new album by Bedwetter, a.k.a. Lil Ugly Mane — is like a foggy night drive through the menacing cliffs of anxiety.
12. This song sounds like the low-key house party that's more fun than any club: “Shameless” by NAPPYNAPPA finds the D.C. rapper questioning his lover's intentions over sexy, afro-futuristic instrumentals.
13. What do we need this week more than a Go-Go cover of Solange's "Cranes In The Sky"? D.C. hometown heroes Backyard Band did the damn thing, and we're grateful.
