Shia LaBeouf is five days into his ambitious new project, a live streamed protest titled "He Will Not Divide Us" which will last for the duration of Donald Trump's presidency. However the early stages of this have not been without incident. As The A.V. Club reports, the high-profile protest has drawn attention from alt-right trolls with "Make America Great Again" signs held in front of the camera and groups of people chanting "Pepe."
Things came to a head on Sunday, January 22 when a man wearing a German Luftwaffe cap appeared on the livestream and began stating the white supremacist’s “14 Words” slogan. The unnamed man was also heard saying “Praise Kek,” a phrase used by Trump supporters on 4Chan. LaBeouf was at the site for this and used the "He will not divide us" phrase to drown the troll out and leave him with nowhere to go. The result can be seen above.
