One of the only good things to happen on Friday, January 20, 2017 was someone punching neo-Nazi Richard Spencer in the face. The video of the punch quickly spread and, throughout the weekend, memes and videos that set the punch to music circulated around social media. One of the videos had Run The Jewels's "Blockbuster Night, Pt. 1" soundtracking the punch, and Killer Mike showed his appreciation for the clip on Twitter.
Mike tweeted, "This is amazing," prompting a larger discussion about whether or not it was OK to punch Spencer in the face. "U do realize dudes a nazi wanna be. I think it's ok for a white guy to knock the shit outta a nazi, still," the Atlanta native wrote about the situation. In another response, he said that Nazis are "still on My Granddads "fuck up on site" list."
A representative for Killer Mike declined to comment further to The FADER.
