Lifetime is producing a new film, Michael Jackson: Searching for Neverland, focusing on the last years of Michael Jackson's life.
The Guardian reports that the film will tell the story of Jackson's later years, as seen through the eyes of his bodyguard. It will also be loosely based around Motown founder Berry Gordy's book, Remember the Time: Protecting Michael Jackson in His Final Days.
Playing the title role will be Navi, who bills himself as "the world's #1 Michael Jackson impersonator. The announcement follows news today that British TV channel Sky Arts will pull Elizabeth, Michael & Marlon, a series that bizarrely cast Joseph Fiennes as Jackson in a portrayal Michael's daughter, Paris Jackson said was "insulting" and made her "want to vomit."
