The conflict between the fashion titans peaked in 2000 when Louis Vuitton filed a lawsuit against Supreme for a mock skate deck wrapped in LV's traditional insignia. But Supreme, a brand that arguably popularized the notion of open collaboration between fashion labels, has long been a presence in the closet of Louis Vuitton's artistic director Kim Jones. In a picture posted to Instagram earlier this week that has since been deleted Jones shared what looks like a Supreme sticker atop Louis Vuitton signature leather print.

This week, a number of images have popped up on Instagram claiming to be evidence of the collaboration, including a perforated sweatshirt emblazoned with the Supreme logo and a LV print. High Snobiety has confirmed through an anonymous source that the collaboration is indeed in the works and will most likely premiere at Louis Vuitton's next Fall/Winter '17 show.

The images and rollout timetable posted here are unconfirmed. The FADER has reached out to both Louis Vuitton and Supreme for comment.
