Sampha debuted "Timmy's Prayer," the gorgeous, affecting lead single from his forthcoming album Process, back in May. Today, he shared a new detail about the song, revealing that its lyrics were co-written by none other than Kanye West.
According to Faster Louder, Sampha shared the news in a new interview which will be released in full soon. “I wrote that song with Kanye West,” the singer told Faster Louder. He added, ”Sometimes you can be in a sort of loving relationship.that you don’t appreciate when you’re in it...but then when you’re without it you realize it was heaven, because you go out into the wider world and you can meet some real sharks out there, people who are out there for your blood.”
