On December 9, Odd Future spitter Hodgy will release his solo debut album. Speaking to The FADER about Fireplace: TheNotTheOtherSide he recently said he listened to the cosmos when deciding to strike out on his own for the first time.
"I don’t know what I would be doing if I wasn’t making music at all," he told us. "I was at a point in my life where I was like, I think it is time for Hodgy to just focus on Hodgy right now."
Today, December 1, Hodgy drops off "Final Hour," a marching and insistent cut that sees Busta Rhymes join the party and contine the rich vein of form that he brought to the new A Tribe Called Quest album this year. Check the song out above, now.
