Yasiin Bey And Ferrari Sheppard Announce Debut Album As December 99th

After forming to release multiple loose tracks earlier this year, Yasiin Bey and Ferrari Sheppard have announced their self-titled debut album as December 99th. The 9-track project will be available exclusively through TIDAL on December 9.

The album, produced entirely by Sheppard features previously released tracks "N.A.W" and "Local Time." According to a statement via Pitchfork, Bey and Sheppard “spent the last year recording in South Africa.” Last week, Bey was granted permission to leave South Africa, where he has remained since the beginning of 2016 for trying to leave the country without a valid passport. Following the news, the rapper announced a series of final U.S. shows before retiring.
