Synchronized Los Angeles R&B singers Joyce Wrice and Kay Franklin make sultry '90s-style music with a modern twist for your eardrums. Their latest video for "Rocket Science" compliments that vibe with a trippy intergalactic theme that includes rocket ships, kaleidoscope patterns, and the duo grooving to the music. The song, produced by MNDSGN, is a head-over-heels love jam with witty astronomy references like being "caught in an orbit" and "just gravity when we get down."

Over email, Wrice told explained what the process of making the song, "Kay did most of the writing for both records and I contributed my verse for each song and did the outro w/ Ringgo on play pretend. Kay's a very good vocal producer and has a knack for songwriting and arrangement. but he's not crazy about his singing voice so I think that's what really brought us together. We both like the way our voices sound together."

She continued "I cannot exactly remember how we started working on 'Rocket Science' and 'Play Pretend,' but he played me both tracks with just the hook and I immediately fell in love! So he asked me if I wanted to contribute my vocals and writing to the songs. We worked on them in his apartment on and off and eventually they became what they are today."
