Watch Erykah Badu Perform “On & On” During A Live, Impromptu Session

Erykah Badu performed a live, impromptu set at The New York Times office today, and sat in for an interview made up of crowdsourced questions. During the set, she and two accompanyists ran through versions of two Badu classics: her breakout hit "On & On" and the Mama's Gun cut "Time's A Wastin'."

The post-session interview included some insights on Erykah's recent musical inspirations (Tribe and Joni Mitchell, among others), some advice on motherhood ("Listen to them"), and some timely thoughts on making music during times of turmoil. Watch above.
