On ORBIT: A Postcoital Prequel EP, Cape Town-via-Toronto musician Zaki Ibrahim delivers four tracks of knotty, futuristic, and genre-shifting R&B released in conjunction with the supermoon. We recently experienced the biggest view of the moon in 70 years, and you might have felt vibrations that feel like those coming from ORBIT. The four tracks fold together to tell "a love story of twin stars." The release was co-written with Lady Venom, South African producer Mamza, and recent Red Bull Music Academy graduate Casey MQ.
