Hear Fat Tony Celebrate Legalization on “Legal Weed”

Amid all kinds of despair, some folks in California, Nevada, and Massachusetts are very happy about their states adopting legislation legalizing recreational marijuana use. Fat Tony, though he's a Houston native, appears to share their enthusiasm, having dropped off a new song, "Legal Weed" this afternoon.

The track is half celebration (We got weed legal in a few states right now) and half a plea to keep pushing in other places nationwide. It's also historically informed, with Tony recounting a highlight reel of the heavily racialized history of policing and legislation around the drug in our country to date. Listen below.
