Just three days ago, the xx shared an untitled piece of new music on their "In The Studio" Spotify playlist, which features all the tunes on repeat within the camp. The new song, with no cover art, no title, and listed under an unknown artist, was just a block of ambient sound — the calm before the storm that the xx has in store.
This afternoon, another mysterious 55-second snippet appeared on the same playlist, replacing the first clip of music. While the tracks are listed under the same title and same artist, the newer track features reverberant vocals (which sounds to be Oliver Sim) overtop a droning guitar sound. Listen below.
