Sky Ferreira has boosted her acting resume with a new film role in the new project from music video director Jonas Åkerlund. Lords Of Chaos will tell the story of Norwegian black metal band Mayhem. The group's controversial past includes satanism, ritualistic church burnings, and the murder of guitarist Øystein Aarseth by Burzum guitarist Varg Vikernes. Deadline reports Rory Culkin, Emory Cohen, and Jack Kilmer will star alongside Ferreira in Lords Of Chaos.
Writing about the role on Instagram, Ferreira wrote: "V excited to apart of this. Best group of people ever (Rory/Jack/Emory/Jonas/Danny) infinite ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️."
Ferreira is also set to appear in the 2017 reboot of David Lynch's Twin Peaks. Jonas Åkerlund has a long and storied career making some of the most memorable pop videos of all time. Earlier this year he directed Beyoncé's "Hold Up" video.
