Flying Lotus has been working for a while to make the crossover from producer to filmmaker. Over the summer, he premiered a short film dubbed Royal at the Sundance NEXT Festival and as he said at the time he's expanding on that film in the form of a feature length presentation entitled Kuso.
After Deadline revealed yesterday that Parliament/Funkadelic frontman George Clinton will have a role in the film, Flying Lotus sent out a string of tweets with more details about Kuso as well as the names of a few people he'd like to join the project, including The Office's Craig Robinson, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia's Kaitlin Olson, and Elijah Wood.
Anyone wanna watch @elijahwood be chased around by dreadlocked titty monsters with uncircumcised butts ? Pls RT #kuso #spoilers

According to the producer, he wants to get the film ready in time for the Sundance film festival, which will take place from January 19 through 29 next year.
