Famed London nightclub Fabric has not been short of support since Islington Council announced their decision to shut the venue. The latest show of solidarity between the people of London and the club came this weekend during a Premier League soccer game between Crystal Palace and Stoke City. The game was held at Crystal Palace's Selhurst Park stadium in south London on Sunday, September 18. A banner with the phrase "Save Fabric" and the club's logo was unfurled near the corner flag during the game and was captured by TV cameras broadcasting the game live.

Fabric was forced to close after the Islington Council made the decision to revoke the club's license on September 6. The review followed the drug-related deaths of two teenagers at the club this summer. The club's owners announced plans to appeal the ruling earlier this month and hoped to raise £500,000 to cover legal fees.

Last week an online fundraising campaign was launched in order to cover the costs of the appeal. Donate to the Fabric fundraising campaign here.
