Raury lent his Twitter support to Kid Cudi's on Thursday, after Cudi's Twitter spree earlier this week. "The music industry, Hollywood, high school and life is pretty much the same damn game," Raury wrote. "With the same damn ppl! With the same damn obstacles!"
He also released an emotionally direct song about his feelings produced by Danny Parra. "Butterfly" is a gut punch, that has Raury rapping about his own suicidal thoughts and a paranoia and anger connected to wondering if people are legitimately down with you. It's very Cudi-esque.
