Kareem Abdul-Jabbar spoke at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia on Thursday night in support of Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, adding a dose of humor to the event.
"I'm Michael Jordan, and I'm here with Hillary," Abdul-Jabbar said to open his speech as the crowd laughed and cheered. "I said that because I know that Donald Trump couldn't tell the difference." Abdul-Jabbar went on to address the dangers of Trump, calling his ideas about Islam "tyrannical."
Twitter loved the NBA legend's jokes:

We don't appreciate Kareem enough, which is partially his fault but also ours.
