On Wednesday morning, Baltimore City’s State’s Attorney’s office dropped all charges against three police officers (Officers Garrett Miller, Alicia White, and William Porter) involved with the death of Freddie Gray. Previously, another three officers — Lieutenant Brian Rice, Officer Edward Nero, and Officer Caesar Goodson, Jr. — were all acquitted at trial earlier this year on more severe charges, so that means there will be no convictions for any of the six officers who were related to Gray's death.

Gray was arrested on April 12, 2015 and died a week later after being found motionless in the back of the police van. As BuzzFeed News reports, "His neck was broken and his spinal cord was compressed and he died a week later, according to a medical examiner’s report."

Baltimore State's Attorney Marilyn J. Mosby is expected to hold a press conference later on Wednesday morning.
