Landstrip Chip shared his Cruise Control mixtape last week, and for his "Flat Shoals" visuals, the Atlanta rapper is taking listeners on a tour through the hood he was raised in that helped form his lyrics, full of tales of drug dealing and robbery. "I grew up in right on Flat Shoals Avenue and Bouldercrest," Chip told The FADER over email. "I wanted to give people a glimpse of my neighborhood and the people in it. We had to give them the real picture of my hood, the real East Atlanta." It's a chill video, with Chip cruising around and hanging out with locals, a contrast from the song's dark and steely sound.
