Tinashe has spent the better part of the last two years preparing to share her sophomore studio album Joyride with the world. The singer even postponed dates on her recent tour in order to continue work on the album, writing a note to fans on her Facebook page: "If you know anything about me, you know this was the last thing I would ever want to do."
Tonight, Tinashe returns with the lead single from the upcoming album "Joyride." The track, produced the superstar studio team Terius "The-Dream" Nash and Tricky Stewart, is an upbeat jam made for the dance floor and is reminiscent of Ghost Town DJ's "My Boo."

"I have felt a strong urge recently to release a song that promotes positivity, love, and light. "Superlove" is a celebration of happiness. More specifically, it celebrates the kind of happiness that is so immense and infectious, that you can't help but to rejoice in it,” says Tinashe in a press release for the new single. “I hope to eulogize this wonderful energy and make people feel good, love harder, and dance together."
