Philly rapper Bri Steves has staked her claim on these hot and heavy months with her breezy new release "Summer's Mine," the video for which we're premiering today. The track is a groovy, feel-good summer anthem and it's making us want to plan a '90s-themed block party. It's also a throwback to DJ Jazzy Jeff and Fresh Prince's 1991 classic "Summertime," which Steves says inspired this song. "It means a lot to me to pay homage being a female MC in Philly with my DJ," she said to The FADER via email. "My music is all for women, so it felt natural making a summertime record from our perspective." So kickback with some lemonade and watch above.
