Jay Z Includes Kendrick Lamar and Nina Simone In “Songs For Survival” Playlist

Having already released his own protest song "Spiritual" in the wake of recent police brutality, Jay Z has now shared a playlist of songs titled "Songs For Survival." The Tidal playlist features artwork of Malcolm X shaking Martin Luther King Jr's hand and opens with Goodie Mob's "Free." It includes songs by Fela Kuti, Nina Simone, Stevie Wonder and two from Bob Marley and The Wailers among others. Beyoncé and Kanye West are both there too, with "Ultralight Beam" and "FREEDOM" respectively. Tidal subscribers can check out the playlist above, now.
