Drake dedicated his 2016 album Views to Megan Flores, a young fan fighting cancer in a Miami hospital. On Sunday, July 10, Flores passed away. Drake had visited Megan in hospital back in March after the pair were put in touch by the Make-A-Wish Foundation. On tour with Rihanna at the time, the pair showed up and posed for pictures with Flores. Writing in a post on Instagram on July 10, Drake paid tribute to his fan better known as OVO Megan. "Rest in peace my angel. I know heaven is celebrating today. Thank you for the moments and emotions we share I am blessed to have known you in this lifetime."
Writing on her own Instagram, Rihanna shared a picture from the hospital visit with Drake, and wrote: "It's heavy news that I can't slide in your DMs anymore like I used to!! There was always a smile waiting for me there! You brightened any day! Rest up baby girl! We will miss you!!"
