Blink-182 End Drake’s Nine-Week Streak On The Billboard Chart
California beats VIEWS out for the No. 1 spot.
Drake's VIEWS has been sitting comfortably in the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 Chart for nine weeks now, making it the hip-hop album for the third-most weeks in the top slot. However, VIEWS was dethroned this past week by Blink-182's California, which is the band's second album to debut at No. 1. and first to do so in 15 years, after 2001's Take Off Your Pants and Jacket.
Billboard reports that California sold "186,000 equivalent album units earned in the week ending July 7, according to Nielsen Music." VIEWS subsequently fell to No. 2. Read the entire report here.
