In the wake of Sunday’s horrific mass shooting at Pulse nightclub in Orlando, FL, the community there has received an outpouring of love and support from near and far.

Local officials have reported at least 50 people were killed and more than 50 more were injured when gunman Omar Mateen opened fire at the gay nightclub.

On social media, celebrities and politicians are reacting to the tragedy with condolences, prayers and politics.

Leading presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump both acknowledged the Pulse shooting and offered prayers to the families affected.

At 2 a.m. Sunday morning, a gunman attacked Pulse nightclub, a gay club in Orlando, FL, carrying an assault-type weapon, and a handgun. After slaughtering tens of people and taking hostages, the gunman was killed in a shootout with law enforcement.
