The Avalanches Share Since They Left Us Trailer With Danny Brown, Ariel Pink, And Father John Misty

The Avalanches, the Australian plunderphonics legends who recently announced their first live shows since 2007, have shared a new video on Facebook called Since They Left Us.

While it may be for a follow-up to their masterful 2001 album Since I Left You, Since They Left Us takes the format of a documentary trailer, with clips of Ariel Pink, Danny Brown, and Father John Misty all describing their involvement with the reclusive group. Pink's vox pop is the most tantalizing: "The rumors are true, I suppose. I think what they do is very strange, it's nothing like the way I work...I was just their stooge."
