In anticipation of their major label debut, Council World, which is "coming soon" via Epic, the Erykah Badu-beloved hip-hop collective Divine Council are releasing new content every Monday.
Today's drop is a video for "Can't Afford Me," which features Cyrax mumbling dazed raps over a pretty ICYTWAT knocker. Shot in vacant, sun-soaked corners of Los Angeles, it finds that finds all four D.C. guys on-camera for the first time (they are split between Chicago and Richmond)—which is cute, because the track is all about saving your love for the crew. As Cyrax explained in an email to The FADER, "This song really just about flexin' up on your -ex and staying motivated while getting to the check wit the gang."
