Prince's side project The Family, who changed their name to fDeluxe after getting back together in 2009, have reunited once again to re-record a new version of "Nothing Compares 2 U". The Family originally popularized the record before it became internationally known through Sinnead O'Connor's rendition in 1990. Original Family members St. Paul, Eric Leeds, and Susannah Melvoin appear on this new version along with the Minnesota Symphony who also appeared on 1985 version as STRINGenius.
