Skepta sat down with Zane Lowe today on Lowe's Beats 1 show to discuss topics ranging from the rise of U.K. grime scene to his upbringing as a child of Nigerian immigrants.
The MC spoke about the long recording process for his upcoming album Konnichiwa, which he announced last year, "Waking up with that on your head almost doesn't allow you to make the best album you can."
It appears that Drake will not be a featured artist on Konnichiwa, but Skepta announced that he may be appearing on Views. "Trying to rush fake music or trying to act like you two are friends... We're just eradicating all that and just doing greatness as friends," he said of his relationship with the Toronto rapper.
Konnichiwa is due out May 6, and Skepta released the most recent single "Man (Gang)" last week. Listen to the full interview below.
