With a beguiling grittiness, San Francisco's Useless Eaters spins punk on its head with "Moist Cuts," the latest track off their upcoming record, Relaxing Death. An eruption of droning fuzzy bass and coarse guitar riffs, it's a new anthem for your average ruffian. With fetching hooks reminiscent of New York punk vets Suicide, Useless Eaters evoke grimy imagery through apathetic lyricism as front man Seth Sutton chants, Moist cuts/ Drip down/ Disease spread around.
The album was recorded in San Francisco, France and Switzerland," Sutton told The FADER in an email. "It's a concept record with ten different perspectives of people who are experiencing the modern world in rapid decline."
Relaxing Death is out June 3 on Castle Face Records
